Anyone using the DNN platform for their website?

Hello,

I've recently started at a new place that uses the DNN platform for their website.  I've worked with Drupal before, but not DNN.  Can anyone give insights on anything unusual that I should be aware of while building out forms and landing pages, or if there is any strange behavior with the Munchkin, url paramenters, validations, etc. in DNN?

Right now our forms are hosted on Marketo landing pages.   But, for some forms not requiring progressive profiling or prefill, I'm considering a move to the corporate site.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Best Regards,

Dave

Hey David,
Our site is hosted on DNN as well: www.r2integrated.com

If you would like to message me privately, I can show you how we synced our forms to Marketo from a DNN module.

Feel free to email me at ablake@r2integrated.com

Best,
Adam

DotNet Nuke is a great platform, but largely how much trouble it gives you is dependant on who programmed the template being used. I don't think, from my limited experience with 1 DNN instance anyways, that you would have any problems with marketo integration. The form code, if you plan to use it on DNN pages, is simple javascript that shouldn't conflict. I am not a developer, however, so take with a grain of salt.

Re: Anyone using the DNN platform for their website?

Thanks Naor and Adam,

Looking briefly into the implementation, I see that they use returls on the form submit - which I don't really think is the best way to go about things, but didn't know if it was something quirky about DNN.  I think it's just a way for them to link the form to the published content the easiest way possible (for them).

Adam, I'll send an email your way to get connected.  Thanks for  the offer.

Best Regards,

Dave
