I'm wondering if you add the "view as webpage" functionality to your emails. Why or why not?
I don't currently, but I'm wondering if it's worthwhile to start?
In our previous system, we had this integration by default. I was curious about the usage and in 2015 it was almost zero-- low enough that honestly a lot of the clicks could have been mistakes.
It's a nice thing to include, but yeah... similar experience. With as many email deliverability tools as there are out there, there's really no good reason why your email shouldn't render well in their email client anyway.
Thanks, Paul and Joe!
I appreciate the help.
Hey Maggie - I use them on almost all my emails. I don't think people really click on them often, and I don't often say "view as webpage." I use different terms depending on the email content. I think of that line as my subhead to my email subject. I might say something like "register now" or "learn more" or "save up to 40%" and there's always a part of that sentence to click on. It's kind of a pain to change it, but I've gotten more used to how to do it.
