Staggering Email Sends

Hello,

We are going to send an email to a very large smart list with a call to action to go to a specific web page. We would like to crontrol the amount of traffic to the page so we want to to stagger my email send. 50% of the smart list the first day and 50% the next day. Will the attached flow work and send an 1 email to everyone (no duplicates)? Would the  “random sample” filter work? 50% of the smart list the first day and 50% the next day. Will the attached flow work and send an 1 email to everyonein the smart list  (no duplicates) over the course of two days? If not, are there any suggestions on how to do it without creating static lists.

Re: Staggering Email Sends

Hi Phil,

Not sure if that's the best way to do it. Random sample seems unpredictable in this case.

Why not try changing your 3rd flow step to 'if not received email' or better yet 'if has received email' (do nothing, else send email).

This way you'll send out to the first 50% on day 1 and to anyone who hasn't received the email on day 2.
