Formula Fields as Filters in Smart Campaigns

Formula Fields as Filters in Smart Campaigns

I was recently very excited to use a formula field in Marketo as it would provide real-time, read-only fields based on a criteria that I had set up for MQL scoring. The workaround is using a triggered smart campaign that can take a long time depending on how many leads are entering the flow at once. Unfortunately, Marketo formula fields end up being almost useless as you can't use them to create smart lists or as filters for your campaigns (or even export that information if you needed to do a batch update).

Please enhance our use of formula fields by allowing the ability to use those fields in Smart Lists (either in a Smart List or within a Smart Campaign) and export them to Excel.

Also, not a huge deal but why can you select Formula fields for Data Value Changes in the flow actions? Shouldn't these be read-only fields?

Thank you!

We should also allow them to be added to RCA.

Also, allow their use in batch campaigns.  Formula fields can only be used in trigger campaigns (if this is still true: Formula Fields in Batch Emails - not allowed? ).

No, not anymore boooo. It is not generating a "system mod stamp", is not coming up in the filter. I did learn in the hard way, now I have a formula field with a name that I need and I cant rename it or delete to create a new one. GREAT!
