Hey everyone!

We're looking for a Marketing Ops Manager at Dialpad based out of our Vancouver office. You'll have close ties to our HQ in San Francisco, where the other half of our marketing team resides.

Here's a link to the posting and happy to answer any questions about the role or what it's like working at Dialpad.

The Demand Generation Manager’s primary responsibility is to drive marketing-sourced and influenced revenue through targeted inbound and outbound campaigns, an effective marketing tech stack, and expert sales/BD/CS enablement. Working in lock-step with sales, business development, marketing, and the product teams, this position will be responsible for the strategy and execution of Comm100’s ABM and demand gen programs.

Hey everyone,

Katie, the Marketo Community Coordinator, has asked that we share this member survey with you: https://marketo.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_a4ZMPVMNudeomvH

If you could complete it by the end of the year, we'll gain some great insights about what kind of content you're looking for to maximize value for every member.

Happy holidays,

Amanda

Hi Vancouver,

Does anyone have any contractors or consulting agencies (actual execution agencies only please) they have as their go-to? We're looking to fill some general automation task backlog we have.

Thanks!

Hello fellow VAN User Groupies,

THIS Wednesday ACL is hosting a Talent Open House. We recently moved into a brand new office, and I'm not going to lie - it is pretty aMAZing! Come and see the #aclspirit for yourself this Wednesday from 5 - 7:30pm. At the very least they'll be free food and booze. Plus, we're hiring a full-time position on our incredible Marketing Team. At ACL our team is extremely innovative and crazy-smart when it comes to Marketo. We have quite a few of Vancouver's sought-after Marketo power users that you could learn a lot from. (*cough cough* Emily Dick) Register and get all the details here!

Here is a direct link to the job description for the Marketing Programs Manager role.

Any questions, you can email me directly at melanie_arnold@acl.com.

Hope to see you this Wednesday!

In case you missed Mike Underell's presentation on Multi-Touch Revenue Attribution at the latest VANMUG event, here's a quick recap of what was covered.

What is multi-touch attribution?

Simply put, it’s a system to attribute revenue to multiple sources that helped contribute to a conversion (aka: sale).

Why is it important?

  • It takes all touchpoints into account.
  • It shows which touchpoints show up in deals more often than others.
  • It credits revenue/pipeline to all sources that contribute to touchpoints.

3 key learnings from Mike's experience building out multi-touch models:

  1. Know your business to properly determine the scope of the project as well as key stakeholders.
  2. Determine what success looks like (think as big as you can).
  3. Tag everything (in a smart, scalable way).

...and don't forget to come to the next Vancouver User Group meeting! (tentatively in August)

Talk soon,

Misha & Amanda
