This individual is a solution oriented business partner and a creative marketing leader, who is eager to showcase, protect and evolve the brand while also contributing to the Bank’s short and long-term profitability and growth initiatives through development of strategic marketing and communications plans focused on the acquisition and retention of clients.

Responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute strategic marketing and communication plans in support of the business line goals: Personal, Small Business, Nonprofit, Commercial and Wealth Management
• Develop channel and content strategies to both achieve objectives and to entertain / educate the target audience(s)
• Drive development of cross-channel initiatives, including writing creative briefs, facilitating approvals & production
• Serve as lead copywriter for all external and internal communications (i.e. website, ads, sales materials, press releases and corporate communications)
• Initiate and analyze market research, including customer behavior, customer satisfaction, pricing & product
• Work with Business Analyst on marketing dashboard to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing efforts, including campaign KPIs, demographic, product and market reporting
• Coach, mentor, partner and motivational leader across the department, to both direct and indirect reports

Skills:

• Strategic marketer with ability to successfully manage tactical execution, across multi-channel programs
• Strong critical thinking skills, solution oriented, data savvy and decisive within approval authority
• Entrepreneurial, skilled in self-starting, iterative development and enthusiastic motivation of multi-disciplined teams
• Proficiency in using industry platforms for social media, marketing automation and surveys (preferred, not required)
• Working knowledge of customer and market research methodologies, both quantitative & qualitative
• Demonstrated ability to effectively build, lead and manage direct reports to successfully achieve objectives
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, including presentation, persuasion and negotiation
• Constructive & collaborative interpersonal skills across all stakeholders: associates, management, clients, prospects, vendors and regulators
