May 2016 SLC MUG Recap

Blog Post created by Trent Cross Champion on Jun 5, 2016

Hello everyone!

Thanks to all who came and attended our user group meeting the past month. It was a great meeting and discussion among the group along with some good food provided by PFL.  We missed the rest of you and plan to join us this month.

We like to thank Marne Reed from PFL for presenting and also sponsoring our meeting this month!  Great ideas and suggetions on how better to use direct mail for better targeting your current and potential customers. I think the mini drones had several of us thinking...hmmmm, great idea!  And I like to get my hands on one of those.  We also like to thank all those that shared their comments and insights from the Marketo Summit this year.  Your insights generated a lot of discussions and interaction with the rest of the group attending.

Oh and we don't want to forget to recognize our local Revvie award winners - PluralSight!  Hope to hear from them at our next meeting this month.

Attached to this post are both the housekeeping slides and the presentation from PFL by Marne.  If you need to get hold of Marne, here is her contact info:

If you attend this month, you will get the chance to see some of the examples that Marne mentioned that didn't arrive in time - the box finally arrived the next day and so we will bring along for a show and tell!

Speaking of our meetings; our next Marketo User Group Meeting is on June 22, 2016. Same time (3:30pm - 5:30pm), same location (MarketStar Offices in South Jordan).  The topics:  "To Infinity and Beyond - How to exceed your webinar expectations (and stay sane!) presented by Adrian Watkins, Sirixdynix; and Content Marketing w/SnapApp (the sponsor for our meeting).

We hope you'll join us for the meeting this month, so be sure to watch out for email invites starting soon.  In the meantime, stay active on the group and ask any and all questions that come up. The more active the group, the more fun we're all able to have!
