Thank you for being part of our Marketo User Group (MUG) Community. Attending a MUG is a great way to network with fellow Marketo users, learn best practices, share knowledge, and problem solve with peers. To ensure the best possible experience for all members, we have established a code of conduct for our meetings.
By joining and participating in this community, you agree that you have read and will follow these rules and guidelines. In order to maintain a respectful and productive conversation, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership in this community for anyone who violate these rules. - Be respectful of others and of the space where the meeting is held. We are building a community of users who can engage in meaningful and constructive dialogue, and respect is the foundation upon which that is built.
- Respect the purpose of the community. Use the community to share successes, challenges, constructive feedback, questions, and goals instead of products or services that you provide. We ask that you do not solicit, sell, or gather individual data during MUG meetings without consent. If someone expresses interest in learning more about your product and explicitly consents to receiving further communication, you may follow up with them individually and offline from the meeting.
- All defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal conduct is strictly prohibited.
- Do not present sales pitches as a speaker or presenter. If you are a Marketo partner who is a sponsor for that MUG meeting, you may present about your solution and how it complements Marketo at the start of the meeting, but we strongly advise against direct pitches, as that is not the purpose of these groups.
